The Utility
Warehouse
The Utility Warehouse website
is the public face of their Distributor-based business.
They needed to revamp it completely, and they asked Daisy
to design and write it. We also provided support to their
in-house web development team when it came to the build.
Our challenge was to showcase their range of products and
services clearly and concisely, while ensuring their brand
values of savings and service shone through. The complex
customer sign-up section had to be streamlined and made
(where possible) self-correcting, to make customer
acquisition quick and problem-free.
We also had to direct existing
customers to the site's many other tools; entering energy
meter readings, topping up mobiles, earning CashBack by
buying goods online or using a unique search engine which
tracks down the cheapest online prices.
The success of the site has been remarkable. In the first
two days, visitor numbers doubled, and they have continued
upwards. Importantly, the proportion of customers signing
up through the website rather than on paper forms has seen
a similar level of growth. The site is delivering benefits
to customers, Distributors and the
Company.
The Utility Warehouse now have
a website which will support the rapid expansion of their
business.
